Not at all ask-blog or whatever-related but I’m reblogging this because this happens to me too and I can heavily relate to it.

VERY VERY VERY MUCH SO.

I’ve been constantly linked that ASS ANCHOR video and every time someone does it, I either just stop talking to them or tell them I don’t like it to which they would start asking, “WHY? IOSYS IS GOOD. THIS IS FUNNY.” Okay, I fucking hate IOSYS. They butcher songs I like by turning them into shitty, meme-heavy, wish-fulfillment remixes that are just unfunny as fuck. Also, GOD DAMN IT THE VOCALS ARE FUCKING TERRIBLE, THE SONGS BARELY SOUND LIKE THE ACTUAL SONGS THEY WERE REMIXED FROM.

Excuse my language but let me just reiterate the fact that I FUCKING HATE IOSYS. Personal preference? Probably, yeah! If you like them, I don’t care but don’t push their shit down my throat, please. They used to do instrumental tracks and arrangements which were actually bearable and knowing that is kind of sad seeing the stuff they make now (Really? Remixes of old shitty remixes? They really made an album for this, I shit you not).

Anyway, people need to stop sending me that ASS ANCHOR thing every time (which is given to me like once to twice a month on dA, at the very least). Or they would start referencing that mess to me thinking I would find it funny. Sorry if I’m overreacting but it just happens so much and it makes me feel extremely terrible for the fandom.

It would be cool if people linked me that one lily-an arrangement of Murasa’s themes or something else but NOPE THEY JUST GOTTA CHOOSE ASS ANCHOR. Seriously, you guys, it’s not the only fucking remix of Murasa’s theme and even then, you’re choosing one of the shittiest.

But ah… either way, as I always do, I try my best and just ignore the god awful fans from ruining a fandom I like. This should go for pretty much all fandoms. If you feel as though “people are ruining it for you” you need to ignore them. Enjoy it on your own time. You don’t have to conform to everything the fans do (ex. like how i fucking hate IOSYS and think Ass Anchor is a piece of shit). I really like Touhou, you guys, which is why I don’t want shit like IOSYS representing the characters as nothing but unfunny desu uguu fap material.

Oh, yeah, lastly, people should really read this blog. He has some interesting and well-written stories in there about how horrible the Touhou fandom can be. Most of it is Steam-related and I’ve seen some of it firsthand myself and all I can tell you is: yes, they are that bad.

I would have to agree with them

I don’t hate iosys, but I hate what the did to the characters, they just took the original way the fanbase had them , and turned into annoying, meme filled, and sometimes get you to hate a character for no reason, or say a certain fact about characters that are just completely overdone!

as a personal thought I HATE most songs about cirno by most , she isn’t a complete idiot with nothing but air in her skull! She’s just young, she’s about the equivalent of a second or third grader(in my mind at least), so I can see why she isn’t the smartest character out there,but she’s not stupid…she’s just a bit immature. I can understand her use of ‘eye’ but that’s all I usually substitute in my ask blog(that and extremely difficult words), I don’t completely destroy the sentence by saying something like ‘eyes is tha stwongist!’ I just can’t stand people who do that…it just pisses me off!

In the beginning I thought iosys was alright, but then I watched a few videos NOT by them(especially one about the subterranian animism group, and another about byakuren and the ufo crew), and after that I just couldn’t stand most of them anymore.They made the characters feel shallow in my mind. I will say that a few are alright, but only like, one or two out of the hundreds they have out there…

I’m sorry about that…I needed to steam a bit…that felt good to let that all out…
